How does a person put such a thing together? I have a feeling it's a combination of "writing all the lyrics out, then remembering where you've heard a certain word/phrase in a movie" along with script googling. I used to play a game (with myself, admittedly) where I'd come up with a random word, and try to remember where it was used in a movie. Spoon: Life of Brian: "We found this spoon, sir." or Kentucky Fried Movie: "In addition to your occupation as a spooooonnn..." etc. I would say that the mark of a truly great "mashup/supercut/whatever this kind of thing is called" would be going for the longest uninterrupted phrases possible, without resorting to movie characters directly quoting the song in question. After that, cadence, timing, and overall artistic impact would be considered.

I love stuff like this. I also like that most of the "butt"s were from animated movies; who else says "butt?" I would maybe prefer some cleaner crossfades, though. Yipes.
