Kings and Sharks Dance Offs started when both teams first met in the playoffs. It took over the series talk thread and Game Day Threads until it got it's own thread. Since then, it has become a tradition.

My girlfriend has a theory that white people, secure in the knowledge that no amount of looking stupid can threaten their social standing, dance like they have zero fucks available to give. My enthusiastic but completely inept dancing has done little to dissuade her from this opinion, and if she someone finds this thread there will be absolutely no living with her.

Yep, I'm a Kings fan again. (I.e. the Ducks have been eliminated) In 20 years the Kings and Ducks have never met in the playoffs, rarely even both making the playoffs in the same year. (By contrast the Ducks have faced the Red Wings about a dozen times) When that finally happens, I expect great things. This is fun.

Shouldn't it be the Sharks and the Jets? I'm sad that the shortened season did not lead to the Sharks/Jets home game that I was promised. With the pending divisional realignment, Sharks/Jets in SJ may be a long way off.
