D'awwwwwwww. Also, I like the thing where the gendered-female hamster clearly has testicles. I choose to take this as a commentary on how sex and gender are not intrinsically linked, which makes the whole thing even cuter. Or maybe they just only had the two hamsters. But I like my interpretation better. :D

I'm just glad the one hamster didn't try to the other hamster's corsage. Or brain. Source : worked briefly in a pet store. These thing are cute, but yeah they are vicious little critters.

Great Roderick's ghost! I'll have you know 'Tales of the Riverbank' was a Canadian-British production. The pilot was filmed in 1958 and premiered in 1960, predating the debut of the little duck by a full four years. It's truly sad these days how little people know about anthropomorphic animal live action TV show history. Why yes, I am (supposed to be) working on my taxes.
