I've certainly enjoyed making music with vegetables. Except that they tend to drool on the rehearsal room carpet and can be somewhat unresponsive when it's time to discuss the finer points of performance style and practice. But they don't complain about the lousy pay, and that's a definite plus.

I'll be really impressed when someone makes an instrument out of meat. How about Meat Loaf? I also seem to remember a record called Meat the Beatles. p.s. Yes, a wonderful post title. (Although the original group Wild Cherry was more a fruit than a vegetable.)
