How delicious is the <a href="http://www.howardhallis.com/bis/btvotdtarot/"><em>Beyond The Valley of the Dolls</em> Tarot Deck</a>? Even the man who wrote<a href="http://www.beyondthevalleyofthedolls.com/home.html"> the movie</a> gave the deck<a href="http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/19700101/REVIEWS/708110301/1023"> two thumbs up.</a> <br /><br />The deck is by Howard Hallis, who is currently working on <a href="http://www.thepictureofeverything.com/">a picture of everything</a> (<a href="http://www.metafilter.com/46976/loopy-lenticulars">previously on MeFi</a>). He claims to have also sent the cards to filmmaker Russ Meyer: "He called me from his house in Palm Springs and loved them so much he wanted me to come by and have lunch with him. He told me to bring my girlfriend too... especially if she had big tits. I'd be wary using this deck for readings. I tried it once and the sheer power knocked me stone cold comatose. When I awoke I was married to homosexual and was addicted to gin and Seconal.
